Step 01

Getting  to know you

​An initial "Getting to Know You" meeting is an essential first step in our journey together. During this relaxed and open conversation, we’ll explore your vision for the ceremony and gather key details about your story, preferences, and any special elements you wish to incorporate. This meeting is not just about gathering information; it’s also an opportunity for us to connect and see if we’re the right fit for each other. I’ll listen to your ideas, answer your questions, and ensure you feel comfortable about the planning process. Together, we’ll lay the foundation for a meaningful celebration that truly reflects who you or your loved ones are.  Once you we have decided to work together a deposit secures the date.

Step 02

Getting to know all about you

If we think we will be a good fit then we will have a more detailed planning meeting to dscuss your ceremony more.  In our follow-up meeting, we’ll dive deeper into your personal story and the moments that matter most to you. This is the time for me to learn more about your values, traditions, and any specific signature moments you’d like to include. By understanding what makes your journey special, I can craft a ceremony that resonates with you and your loved ones, ensuring a meaningful celebration that truly reflects who you are.

Step 03

Crafting your unique ceremony

After our initial meetings, I take the information we've gathered about your vision, personal story, and special elements to craft a unique script that reflects your journey. This narrative weaves together the key details, values, and traditions you’ve shared, creating a heartfelt ceremony that resonates with you and your loved ones. I’ll collaborate closely with you throughout this process, ensuring that the final script feels authentic and truly represents your story. Together, we’ll bring your vision to life in a meaningful way.  At this point the final payment is required.

Bringing it all together

In the final step, we’ll bring everything together to create a beautiful and cohesive ceremony. Drawing from our conversations, I’ll weave your unique story, chosen rituals, and special touches into a heartfelt script that reflects your vision. This is where your ideas truly come to life, and we’ll work closely together to ensure every detail resonates with you and your loved ones. The result will be a meaningful celebration that honors your journey and creates lasting memories for everyone involved.

Wedding and Vow Renewal

Naming Ceremony

  • Is a celebrant-led wedding legal in the UK?
    In the UK, celebrant-led weddings are not legally binding. To have a legal marriage, you must register your marriage at a local registry office, this can be referred to as 2+2 as you need the couple (2) and witnesses (2), this will cost around £100 per couple. However, a celebrant can create a beautiful, personalised ceremony that reflects your love story, which can take place after the legal registration at any location that you have permission to use.
  • What types of ceremonies do you officiate?
    I officiate a variety of ceremonies, including weddings, vow renewals, naming ceremonies, memorials, pet naming ceremonies, and even celebrations for new buildings or milestones. Each ceremony is personalized to reflect your unique story and values.
  • Can we include custom rituals in our ceremony?
    Absolutely! I love incorporating custom rituals that are meaningful to you. Whether it’s a unity ceremony, symbolic gestures, or personal traditions, we can work together to create special moments that resonate with your story.
  • How far in advance should we book your services?
    It’s best to book as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Depending on the ceremony required I recommend reaching out several months in advance, especially during peak seasons, to allow ample time for planning and collaboration. Clearly this is not possible for funerals and we work on a much shorter time frame, I have completed on end to end within a week before when necessary due to guests travel arrangements.
  • What is your pricing structure?
    Each ceremony is unique, and so is each price. The prices listed on my website serve as a starting point and guide. After our initial meetings, I’ll provide a detailed quote tailored to your specific ceremony and needs.
  • How do we get started?
    To begin, simply reach out to schedule an initial "Getting to Know You" meeting. During this relaxed conversation, we’ll discuss your vision for the ceremony, gather key details, and determine if we’re the right fit for each other. If you like the idea of a celebrant led service but think i'm not for you, thats ok, have other celebrant colleagues I can put you in touch with.
